Hybrid Unit 1, February 2024

Sunday morning 9:00am -12:30pm Central Time on February 25, March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, April 7, 14

1. Focus on engaging teaching ideas based on the learner's needs from day 1

2. Trainer's videos includes lessons of wide range of ages and technical challenges to help participants gain more effective tactics

3. Participants are expected to turn in each of their own teaching videos each week to receive immediate feedback from the trainer

4. Each participant will receive a package of teaching props for in depth discussion

Online Unit 2, May 2024

Saturday 9:00-12:30 on May 4, 11, 18, 25, plus a one-hour teaching strategies Q & A meeting on May, 31, Friday evening.
1. Besides the discussion of teaching points, different approaches tailored towards older book 2 students and transferred older students will be discussed.
2. Teaching tactic for students who need extra guidance for shifting, and reading
3. Fun teaching props and group class activities

Cello Teaching Strategies 2024

Bi-weekly from 9:00am to 11:30 am on September 7, 21, October 5, 19. 10 hours of meeting total. $215.

Topics for discussions:
1. Skills and knowledge required to teach: preschoolers, older beginners, and transferred students
2. Strategic planning for issues such as: power struggles, motivational issues, and advanced techniques
3. Ideas to create an equal space for students to thrive and parents to lean in more
4. *Teacher participants’ own 1 to 2 teaching videos of 5- 10 minutes
5. A two week break in between allow time for review and creating projects.
